Functional Prototype or MVP

Hi, would like to ask if a functional prototype is good enough or does it have to be an MVP? Because my idea has to work with a lot of different 3rd party APIs and I haven't managed to get their API until now because I'm asking for their API in the name of a hackathon instead of a solid company...

    Hello It should be a functional monday.com app. All Projects must be entered on the hackathon site and submitted to monday.com’s App Marketplace before the end of the Submission Period to be eligible for Prizes.
